Our Hospital

We are a full-service veterinary facility located at 16 Morris Turnpike on the border of Summit, Short Hills, Springfield, and Millburn in a suburban commercial district. The building is highly visible from the street and free on-site parking is available. For your convenience, the hospital is located immediately near Routes 24, 78, and the Garden State Parkway.

The hospital has been in operation at this location since 1929. Our new state-of-the-art facility opened its doors in 1997. The new facilities have allowed us to further expand our services and offer our clients a wide range of treatment options and opportunities.

Summit Dog and Cat Hospital is exclusively a small animal practice, seeing mostly dogs and cats.Gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets are also seen on occasion.

We are an AAHA-certified practice, which means we consistently meet the high standards of the American Animal Hospital Association.

Our staff of veterinarians are highly trained professionals who possess over 75 years of combined experience in veterinary medicine. Their experience and professionalism help guide the rest of the staff in providing extraordinary patient care.
